When Nikola Tesla said “as a Means of Furthering Peace” in the title of the article this quote came from, Tesla meant special technologies, such as particle beams, called “teleforce” and “peace rays” by Tesla and “death rays” by his critics. But, Tesla also meant wireless communication technology and wireless electrical power transmission technology. Google “Wardenclyffe Tower” and “Tunguska event” for an interesting theory of what happened in 1908. I believe that a small comet or asteroid caused that event, but the Tesla alternative is interesting.
